Superliga Argentina: Week 10/11
This week is a special one for Argentinean football, as there will be matches every day. Here we take a look at the most relevant ones.
Union Santa Fe vs San Lorenzo
Union de Santa Fe has so far been one of the revelation teams of the season, nobody expected them to have the level of performance they have this 2022, considering the low quality they showed last season. They have been the only team that has managed to outperform the almighty River Plate so far this season, and that is no easy feat. On the other side San Lorenzo, despite being recognised as one of the most important teams in the country, is in free fall, having won only one game all year and showing a horrible level, which has led to the dismissal of their coach this week. Without a doubt our clear favourite is Union.

Platense vs Gimnasia La Plata
Platense is a team that has only recently been promoted to the first division and has not yet been able to establish their place properly, they are one of the weakest teams that the tournament has to offer.
On the other hand, Gimnasia is a better formed team, with more experienced players, and although they are not among the best in the country, they manage to stay in the middle of the table. Knowing that Gimnasia has been superior in the last matches they have played, and that Platense hasn’t won in seven weeks, we can expect a Gimnasia victory.

Patronato vs Racing Club
Racing is, along with River, the two big protagonists of this tournament, the only team that is undefeated in the league and has seven consecutive victories. We have no doubt that they will take the victory, especially considering that they will face a weak Patronato, the team that has lost the most games in the tournament so far.
Boca Juniors vs Godoy Cruz
Boca are one of the biggest teams in the country, but they are not having the best of their years, as they can’t get a game style they can trust. Many times knowing Boca’s power and that they are the second most expensive team in the country after River, we have stated that Boca were going to win, but we can no longer trust them in the same way after they have disappointed us so many times. On the other hand, Godoy Cruz is a team in formation, with very young players, and after not getting the results they wanted, they fired their coach two weeks ago. The truth is that this match is very difficult to predict, the logic would indicate that Boca is the favourite, but we would not be surprised if once again they disappoint and we see a draw or even a victory for Godoy Cruz.
